Many organisations already provide Active Support training. The challenge is ensuring that the training leads to consistent, high-quality support in practice. This programme is designed to bridge the gap between training and implementation by developing trainers who can:

Programme structure

The course is delivered through a structured series of 9 interactive online sessions for small cohorts, allowing for active participation, discussion and skills rehearsal. Learning is supported through:

  • Interactive teaching and discussion

  • Practical exercises and modelling

  • Participant presentations and rehearsal

  • Workplace-based practice between sessions

  • Observation and feedback activities

  • Final assessed coaching assignment based on real practice

Participants are expected to apply their learning throughout the programme within their own workplace settings.
